It's still about him. It's always about him.

The Atlantic's editors have hit on a way to make you hate them: Blogging to let you know what a challenging, "thought-provoking" time they're having at the Aspen Ideas Festival listening to E.O. Wilson, Alan Greenspan, Bill Clinton and Karl Rove, among others:

At 6.30am we glided out of Aspen in a fleet of silent shining limos (furnished by Lexus, one of the meeting's sponsors: I could get used to it).

Witnesses said the agents numbered about 40 or 50 and the protesters numbered about 50."The officials (Border Patrol) looked agitated and aggressive," said Terrie, 31, a merchant on First Street who declined to give her full name."It was an over force. For me, I don't think it was necessary," said Young Lee, a merchant at the corner of Heffernan Avenue and First Street.>> Staff Writer Victor Morales can be reached at 337-3452 or vmorales@ivpressonline.com Print Email Share: CALEXICO Demonstrators participating in a weeklong anti-border protest that ended in violence over the weekend called the U.S. Border Patrol's response "excessive" Monday.&t=imperial,%20el-centro,%20calexico,%20imperial-county&r=mexico&category=world_news","newsvine","toolbar=no,width=590,height=600,resizable=yes,scrollbars=yes")'>

Experts: SSL certificate no guarantee of safety

SAN JOSE, Calif. - When a small padlock appears in the corner of your Web browser's address bar or the entire bar turns green, it seems like a powerful signal you're safe to proceed.

But experts say the SSL certificates those green lights signify — digital stamps of approval that Web sites buy to prove they're running a legitimate business and can send and receive encrypted data safely — don't provide the safety they seem to.

"They instill some sense of security, but that could be a dangerously false sense of security," said Paul Mutton, a researcher with UK-based security firm Netcraft Ltd.

Suicide kills more than war and murder

Lithuania posts 70.1 male and 14.0 female suicides per 100,000, while Russia has rates of 61.6 and 10.7, according to the WHO.

Another factor was that such countries had undergone extreme changes. "Even though many people have benefited from those changes, many people still feel left behind,'' Prof Mishara said.

"People don't kill themselves because they want to die,'' he said.

"People kill themselves because they can not see any hope to feel better in the future.''

The fact that this bitch does not even mention the daily harassments and humiliations by the apartheid nation is quite telling who he real masters are. She is also is probably as clueless about the daily shelling by the apartheid nation into the occupied territories. This is the same bitch that provided cluster munitions to the apartheid nation during the failed Lebanese reoccupation recently.

Take a peek at “Battlefield Heroes”

Now we know what to expect.

The first looks are out for "Battlefield Heroes," a cartoon-style first-person shooter for PC from developer Digital Illusions and publisher Electronic Arts, and due for release this summer.

Like its predecessors, BH's fighting environment mimics the World War II-era European theater. Unlike its predecessors though, BH doesn't demand much nerve-wracking skill, so even gaming newbies won't feel intimidated. Because shooting isn't BH's main attraction — it's the avatar customization.

BH will be Electronic Arts' first title under the company's new "Play 4 Free" strategy, in which gamers download the title at no cost but make "micropayments" to add customized features. Faces, legs, arms, torsos and uniforms can be altered in a myriad ways, as well as some weapons.

Home market under $200K super hot

Marshall and Wendy Kauffman were drowning in debt six years ago. They paid $185,000. The Kauffmans, who are both 29 and have three children, are among homebuyers fighting over a growing inventory of homes in the Valley's super hot sub-$200,000 market. The sub-prime debacle, foreclosures and short sales are continuing to drive Valley real estate prices down, making more homes than ever affordable for first-time homebuyers and investors. .
